The rent you pay is determined by your taxable income and is calculated at the time of your assessment-your case manager will have discussed your rate when you signed the consent.   Any costs not funded by the Ministry of Health are your responsibility. George Derby has many residents who need assistance with direction finding.  We have a locked front door that is monitored.  We use a wandering system that some residents wear, it alerts us to residents that may be walking out our front door unintentionally.  We also have a unit that is extra secure where residents are safe to wander about the unit.
